I’m a former professional baseball player, a lifelong learner, a recent University of Chicago grad, and a follower of Christ. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, getting lost in a good book, challenging myself physically, and finding new things to learn. Through theses avenues and beyond, I'm always looking for new ways to grow.

This website is a personal project that brings together many of the things I’m passionate about. I built it from scratch using Ruby on Rails, with Bootstrap and custom CSS for styling. The reading section is powered by a PostgreSQL database that I designed and manage, which allows me to store, query, and display my book log dynamically rather than as static content.

I’ve developed both back- and front-end features to enhance the site's functionality and user experience. You can explore the full source code on my github. For the best experience, I recommend viewing it on a computer.
